1. Schedule a Free 
STRATEGY SESSION

At Sweet Spot Health, we’ve made taking the first step towards a healthier, happier you as convenient as possible. Here’s how it works:

Getting started is a breeze. Simply book a free 15-minute strategy session at a time that best suits you.  Discovery calls are usually via video call however there is also the option to do it the old fashioned way through a phone call if preferred.

2. Speak with a Dietitian

Once you’re ready to begin, you’ll have the opportunity to speak with one of our qualified Dietitians. You’ll get to know your dietitian, discuss your goals, and get an answer to any questions you may have. This call is your chance to see if our approach to nutrition and health aligns with your needs.

3. Book Your First Session

Think we’re the right fit? Hooray! If you’re ready to dive in after your free discovery call you’ll be invited to book in your first session with one of our Dietitians either online or in person. These sessions can be tailored to your schedule, making it hassle-free to fit them into your busy life. We are here to guide you every step of the way and work closely with you to create a personalised action plan that suits your unique circumstances and goals.

4. Get a Referral (If You Want)

Although it’s not a requirement to work with us, you may be eligible for a referral from your healthcare practitioner. If you are unsure about what steps to take one of our team members will talk you through it every step of the way.

How much does this service cost?

We offer a 6-week coaching package designed to fit your needs. The standard investment is $180 per week, totaling $1080 for the entire program. Save $100 by paying in full, bringing the total cost down to $980.

How long are the sessions and what’s included?

Our 6-week coaching package includes one initial session followed by five weekly check-ins. Each session typically lasts around 60 minutes. In addition, you'll have access to weekday support and private messaging via Recovery Record, a mobile app that enhances your progress and experience between sessions.

Are the sessions included eligible for health care rebates?

Private Health: Most private health funds offer rebates for Dietitian consultations. Dietetics is typically covered under 'extras' plans. Depending on your level of cover, rebates generally range from $28 to $50. For detailed information about your eligibility and the rebate amount, please contact your individual health fund. If you are entitled to a rebate, an invoice will be issued after payment, which you can then use to claim your rebate from your provider. Please note that if you have a care plan from your GP, you can't claim both from your health insurer and Medicare for the same appointment. We're here to assist you in maximising your rebates and can help you navigate this process.

Medicare: Depending on your needs, your GP may provide a Medicare plan, which can lead to Medicare rebates for your sessions. If you've been referred with a Medicare care plan from a GP, you are entitled to receive a Medicare rebate of up to $60.35 per session (or more if you've reached your safety net) for each session you are referred for.

For those with Eating Disorder Care Plans, you have access to up to 20 rebated dietetic sessions. More information about an Eating Disorder Care Plan (EDP) can be found here. A Chronic Disease Management Plan, or Team Care Arrangement (formerly known as an 'Enhanced Primary Care' plan), provides up to 5 appointments. Your GP can provide further details about your eligibility for this plan. If you are eligible for any type of care plan, it's essential that it's in place before your appointment with us (or before you intend to claim the rebate). You will also need to bring your referral paperwork to your appointment.

Please note that our practice does not offer bulk billing.

How much access will I have to you outside of our scheduled session times?

We understand that support goes beyond scheduled sessions. You'll have access to our dietitians through email or secure messaging for quick questions or concerns. We're here to provide guidance and support throughout your journey.

I have an eating disorder, is this service suitable for me?

Absolutely, our service is designed to support individuals like you. We have a special interest in working with disordered eating and eating disorders. Our experienced dietitians are well-equipped to help you navigate this challenging journey, improve your relationship with food, and boost your overall well-being.
To ensure a higher level of support and safety is provided, for anyone living with an eating disorder the investment is $200 per week, totaling $1200. If you choose to pay upfront, you can save $100, bringing the total cost down to $1100.
